3 Effective Coaching Techniques To Keep Your Vibration High In A Coaching Session

Coaching is a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. But as coaches, it’s essential to maintain a high vibration during coaching sessions. Your energy and state of being can impact the effectiveness of your coaching and the results your clients achieve. In this episode, we will explore three effective coaching techniques to help you maintain a high vibration in your coaching sessions.

Today I want to talk about effective ways to shift your own personal energy. This way, you are showing up as your best self. They’re going, once they become your clients, to come back to you because of you being you and how you make them feel in your coaching sessions. And lastly, the results they get.

Let’s dive into the tangibles here. I’m going to give you three effective coaching techniques. And I want you to audit them. Ask yourself, am I maintaining these and how can I take steps forward to improve them?

1. Take Care of Yourself First

To show up as your best self in coaching sessions, it’s essential to prioritize self-care. Taking care of yourself physically and emotionally will ensure that you have the energy and presence to support your clients effectively.

Here are some key aspects of self-care to consider:

  • Rest: Get consistent sleep and rest to recharge your energy levels and maintain mental clarity.
  • Hydration: Prioritize staying hydrated throughout the day to support your overall well-being and cognitive function.
  • Movement: Incorporate regular exercise or movement into your routine to boost your energy and release any tension or stress.
  • Nourishing Foods: Fuel your body with high-energy foods that nourish and support your physical and mental well-being.

2. Set Boundaries Around Your Coaching Practice

Establishing clear boundaries around your coaching practice is crucial for maintaining a high vibration and preventing burnout.

Here are some effective boundary-setting techniques to consider:

  • Avoid Coaching Exhaustively: Coaching for long hours without breaks can drain your energy and impact your ability to show up fully for your clients. Set a limit on the number of coaching hours per day to ensure you have time to recharge and maintain your energy levels.
  • Create Buffers Between Sessions: Allow yourself a buffer of time between coaching sessions to rest, reflect, and prepare for the next client. This buffer time also enables you to catch up on client notes and maintain organization.
  • Communication Boundaries: Clearly communicate your availability and response times to clients. Avoid being constantly available on platforms like email, Voxer, or WhatsApp. Set specific times for checking and responding to messages to maintain your own boundaries and prevent feeling overwhelmed.

3. Coach Your Own Thoughts

Coaching your thoughts is a powerful practice that can elevate your energy and state. By becoming self-aware of your thinking patterns and challenging limiting beliefs, you can cultivate a positive mindset and show up as your best self.

Here are some strategies for coaching your thoughts:

  • Be at Cause: Notice if you tend to adopt a victim mentality or feel like external circumstances control your life. Shift your mindset to one of being at cause, and taking responsibility for your thoughts, actions, and results.
  • Self-Awareness: Regularly check in with yourself and become aware of any intrusive or negative thoughts. Challenge these thoughts and replace them with more empowering and positive ones.
  • Journaling: Journaling is a powerful tool for self-reflection and coaching your thoughts. Write down your thoughts, beliefs, and goals, and use journaling as a way to process and reframe any negative or limiting beliefs.
