Client Case Study: From Hidden Gem To Purpose Coach With Tina Fitzloff

In this episode, I am joined by my client and Purpose Coach, Tina Fitzloff. These episodes are my favorite because we share a client’s amazing transformation. Tina is a Coach to women over 40 who want to find their purpose again in a new season of life. Together, we discuss why Tina stepped into doing this work and the most influential factor of her success in her journey. Spoiler alert: it has ZERO to do with business strategy.

One of the most important things you will ever do as a coach is conduct an effective coaching session. The problem though is that you aren’t sure how to make the coaching session flow. You find yourself overthinking every word you want to say and are focused more on you and less on the client.

The Importance of Belief and Identity Shifting

Belief and identity shifting are often overlooked in the pursuit of business growth. Many entrepreneurs focus solely on strategy and hire experts in the hopes of finding a solution to their challenges. However, without a strong foundation of belief in oneself and the potential for success, no amount of strategy can lead to sustainable growth.

Tina Fitzloff’s journey is a perfect example of the transformative power of belief and identity shifting. She was in her mid-forties, feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled in her career. She had stories in her mind telling her that it was too late to make a change, that she couldn’t start over. But deep down, she knew she wanted something more.

The Catalyst for Change

Tina’s journey began when she attended a speaking event where I was a guest speaker. My words sparked something within her, and she reached out for support. She was searching for permission to make a change, to start over. This is a common struggle for many individuals who feel trapped in their current circumstances.

The Challenges of Transition

After completing a life coach certification program, Tina found herself lacking confidence and unsure of how to take the next steps in her coaching business. She invested a significant amount of money in training, hoping it would provide her with the validation she needed. However, she still felt stuck in perfectionism and fear of failure.

The Power of Community

Joining the Best Damn Coach (BDC) community was a turning point for Tina. She discovered that she was not alone in her struggles and found inspiration from other coaches who were further along in their journeys. The supportive and uplifting environment of the BDC community gave her the courage to take messy action and embrace imperfection.

Overcoming Perfectionism

One of the key lessons Tina learned was that done is better than perfect. She realized that waiting for everything to be perfect was holding her back from taking action. Embracing imperfection allowed her to move forward and learn from her experiences. She discovered that rolling something out, even if it wasn’t perfect, led to valuable feedback and growth.

Cultivating Belief and Purpose

Tina’s belief in herself and her purpose grew as she collected evidence of her impact. She shifted her mindset from dismissing small wins to celebrating them. She recognized that every step forward, no matter how small, was progress. This shift in perspective allowed her to cultivate resilience and continue moving towards her goals.

The Value of Community Support

The BDC community played a crucial role in Tina’s journey. The open coaching calls provided a safe space for her to ask for help and receive guidance from others who had faced similar challenges. The support and encouragement from fellow female entrepreneurs helped her overcome feelings of isolation and provided valuable insights and solutions.

The Path to Purpose

Tina’s passion lies in serving women who are seeking purpose and fulfillment in their lives. She is launching a new program called “Pathway to Your Purpose” in 2024, which aims to guide women through their own journeys of self-discovery and transformation. Through her own experiences, Tina has learned the importance of sharing her story and connecting with others who can relate.

Embrace Imperfection and Rediscover Your Purpose

The power of belief and identity shifting cannot be underestimated in the coaching journey. Tina’s story is a testament to the transformative impact of embracing imperfection, seeking support from a community, and cultivating belief in oneself. As coaches, it is essential to prioritize belief work and help our clients develop a strong foundation of self-belief and purpose. By doing so, we can empower them to overcome challenges, take action, and create the lives they truly desire.

Tina’s journey is ongoing, and she continues to grow and evolve as a coach. Her commitment to her clients and her passion for helping women find their purpose is inspiring. As she moves forward, she will undoubtedly make a significant impact in the lives of those she serves.
